Friday Freeze Frame

My life's journey has been enriched beyond my wildest imagination, because of the person I chose to marry.

Holding his hand as we walk through life's journey.

That's simply what it's all about.

Friday Freeze Frame

Something about an open highway reminds me of endless possibilities and opportunities. You just need to step out and begin the journey.

Happy Birthday, Ralph!

Today is my husband, Ralph's birthday. I cannot begin to explain just how blessed I am to be able to call him my husband.

He is always the encourager.

Always the dreamer.

Always the positive attitude.

Always the get-it-done guy.

Always the composed one.

Always the one smiling.

He's all these things, and so much more.

That's why I pretty much think he hung the moon.

Happy birthday, Ralph. Your family loves you bunches.

Friday Freeze Frame

I know that the day is coming soon that the only thing that will be making this swing, swing, will be the wind.

So, for right now I am quiet content to watch these 3 adorable faces make the tree swing, swing.

I will let them enjoy the breeze blowing through their hair when they throw their head back.

I will cherish the giggles that escape from their lips, as they take turns swinging each other higher.

Because I know the day is coming when our little girls will become young women.
Right now, I will cherish these moments.

Friday Freeze Frame

Our girls have a favorite tree.

It's this one, and they call it the Bendy Tree because, well it's a tree and it's bendy.
I know, quiet original.

They like to go to the tree and climb it, and just recently I discovered this...

Yes, that's a sharpie.

This is apparently what they do when they are not actually climbing the bendy tree.

Not really sure what this says.

Apparently there was a story that just needed to be told. Too bad I can't read it!

When they get tired of decorating the trees, they move to the board fence. Where they like to state loudly that "Girls Rule!" And sign their names and their friends names.

What can I say, we're raising little graffiti artist.

And does anyone else see the irony of this picture?

A peace sign between barbed wire....

Love when my girls express themselves and in the process challenge me to think.

Friday Freeze Frame

I posted last week to stay tuned what Morgan got to do on her birthday. I finally got all the pics uploaded today, just in time for this weeks Friday Freeze Frame!

So, what did Morgan get to do on her birthday?

She got to go to Gulf World and swim with a dolphin!
Yes, I took a lot of pictures and no I won't bore you with them all.

Here are a few of my favorite shots, that I took.

Holding on with both hands as Comet takes Morgan for a swim.

The following pics were taken by the photographer at Gulf World.
Yes, we bought the disc.
Yes, I felt like an idiot purchasing it.
Yes, I would do it again, because these are priceless...

Directing Comet to sing.

This is my absolute favorite one. Love, love, love the expression on her face!

I was showing Morgan the pictures this evening, and as she was looking, she sighed and said, "That was the best day ever."
What more can one ask for on their 8th birthday?
